Role Description

The Registered Nurse role at Nexus24Healthcare is a full-time, on-site position based in Bradford. The nurse will provide direct patient care in care homes and healthcare facilities, including assessing health needs, planning and implementing care, administering medications, and monitoring patient conditions.   • Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant clinical guidelines and regulatory requirements
  • Supporting and guiding Healthcare Assistants and other care staff
  • Promoting patient safety
  • Responding promptly to changes in patient status or emergency situations

The role also involves communicating clearly with patients, families, and colleagues to promote dignity, respect, and person-centered care.

Qualifications

  • Valid NMC registration as a Registered Nurse and eligibility to practice in the UK.
  • Experience in adult social care, care homes, or similar clinical settings, with strong assessment and care planning skills.
  • Proficiency in medication administration, clinical observations, and accurate record keeping in line with regulatory standards.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support and supervise care staff.
  • Ability to adapt to different care environments, manage time effectively, and remain calm under pressure.
  • Commitment to safeguarding, infection prevention and control, and continuous improvement in patient care.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and bank holidays as required.
  • Completion of relevant mandatory training (e.g., basic life support, manual handling, safeguarding); additional clinical certifications are an advantage.
