About the Department

Our Treatment Suite is a key part of the patient pathway, providing high-quality pre-operative and post-operative care to patients undergoing a wide range of procedures. The department plays a vital role in ensuring patients are safely prepared for treatment and supported throughout their recovery, delivering compassionate, individualised care in a professional and welcoming environment.

Working closely with consultants, anaesthetists, theatre teams, and multidisciplinary colleagues, the service is committed to delivering excellent clinical outcomes, outstanding patient experiences, and the highest standards of safety and governance. Patient wellbeing, clinical excellence, and continuous improvement underpin everything we do.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse within the Treatment Suite, you will play a key role in delivering safe, effective, and patient-centred care throughout the pre-operative and post-operative journey. You will ensure patients receive the highest standards of clinical care, support, and reassurance from admission through to discharge.

Working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will undertake patient assessments, monitor patients before and after procedures, administer medications and treatments, and respond appropriately to changes in a patient's condition. You will provide clear information and education, helping patients feel informed and confident throughout their treatment journey.

The role requires excellent clinical judgement, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering safe care in line with best practice, professional standards, and organisational policies. Accurate documentation, attention to detail, and adherence to infection prevention and governance requirements are essential.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
