Registered Nurse – Trevern Residential and Nursing Home

About the Role

Location: Trevern Residential and Nursing Home, 72 Melvill Rd, Falmouth TR11 4DD Salary: £21.69 per hour + £3,000 welcome bonus Hours: 34.5 hours per week

Responsibilities

Sanctuary Care Nurses provide a wide range of responsibilities including:

  • Delivering high-quality nursing care aligned with the NMC code
  • Demonstrating exceptional clinical knowledge and competence with a research-based practice approach
  • Ensuring excellent communication and record-keeping skills
  • Committing to continuous professional development and lifelong learning
  • Managing holistic care and emergency situations
  • Leading a team of care professionals with kindness and compassion
  • Collaborating effectively with internal and external teams
  • Supporting the learning and development of clinical colleagues and student nurses
  • Valuing and respecting older people and their individual needs

Requirements

  • Current registered nurse status with the NMC
  • Valid criminal records check and safeguarding training preferred
  • Demonstrated commitment to person-centred care
  • Strong ability to communicate clearly and document effectively
  • Willingness to adapt to a demanding environment with compassion
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting
