We are seeking experienced Theatre Practitioners
We are seeking experienced Theatre Practitioners to join our team at Melton Mowbray Hospital, part of University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust.
We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. You will join an established and supportive theatre team, with opportunities to develop new skills while consolidating your existing knowledge and experience within a strong, collaborative working environment.
The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, patients, and the wider multidisciplinary team.
- You will be well organised, adaptable, and able to respond flexibly to the needs of the service. A flexible approach to working is essential.
- A full UK driving licence and access to transport are required, as you will be expected to work across Community Day Surgery sites to support service delivery when required.

Working as part of our Day Surgery Team you will care for patients accessing our service for elective Day Surgery procedures. Our current specialties include General Surgery, Plastics, vascular and Podiatric surgery. The patients journey is all managed in one area and will include admission and preparation for theatre, the perioperative journey and 1st and 2nd stage recovery including discharge. We offer the perfect opportunity to develop new and existing skills in a fast-paced working environment.
