Role

The Registered Nurse provides coordinated care in one of the specialty areas. The candidate will assess, monitor, record, and report promptly, symptoms or changes in patient’s condition to the relevant physician. Maintain accurate detailed reports and records of patient care provided. Monitor all aspects of patient care, including diet and physical activities. Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans. Plan for and contribute to the learning experience of Nursing students. The post holder will disseminate information received on ward rounds to other members of staff, ensuring that new developments are noted/documented and executed. Prepares patients for and assists with examinations or treatments. Check, administer, and record the use of Dangerous Drugs according to Hospital’s Policy.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Three years postgraduate experience working in a relevant hospital setting
  • Must be a Registered Professional Nurse with current licensure in either the UK, Canada, Jamaica, South Africa, New Zealand, or Australia
  • CPR, ACLS, and BCLS Certification
  • Knowledge of OSHA, FDA, and HIPAA compliance
  • Candidate must be able to lift and position patients on endoscopy stretcher and transport patients
