Registered Nursing Associate

The Manor Hospital

37.5 Hours & Permanent

Salary: Up to £29,500.00 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

The Manor Hospital in Bedford is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

We have an opportunity for a Registered Nurse Associate to join their team of staff in the Imaging department.

This is a full-time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties Of This Role Include

  • Deliver holistic, compassionate care that supports patients' personal, physical, and emotional needs.
  • Undertake clinical tasks such as vital signs monitoring, wound care, catheter care, nutrition and hydration support, and mobility assistance.
  • Recognise and escalate changes in a patient’s condition to senior nursing staff in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Contribute to ongoing patient assessments, care planning, implementation, and evaluation under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation and care records in line with legal and professional standards.
  • Participate in the safe discharge or transfer of patients, ensuring clear communication and continuity of care.

Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria

  • NMC-registered Nursing Associate.
  • Completion of an approved Nursing Associate training programme.
  • Understanding of person-centred care and the role of the Nursing Associate within the wider team.
  • Excellent communication, clinical, and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to professional development and reflective practice.
  • Experience in acute, surgical, outpatient, or community healthcare settings.
  • Basic awareness of quality improvement, audit, or patient safety initiatives.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records and care planning systems.
  • Previous mentoring or supervision experience of junior staff or students.
