About the Role

As a Nurse you will be accountable for the clinical delivery of nurse led appointments and will be required to support the Vet with procedures as required ensuring we deliver exceptional care always there to our clients, patients and colleagues whilst maintaining the highest levels of regulatory and operational standards and compliance.

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Medivet Camberwell 24hr hospital. We are a 24-hour emergency veterinary hospital dedicated to delivering advanced emergency, critical care, and complex internal medicine services. Equipped with high-spec diagnostic tools—including digital radiography, endoscopy, laparoscopy, advanced ultrasound, CT, and an extensive in-house laboratory—our team manages diverse, fast-paced, and challenging clinical caseloads around the clock.

What You'll Be Doing

We are seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with a passion for Emergency & Critical Care (ECC) and Internal Medicine who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment. In this high-volume hospital setting, you will apply your advanced expertise to run critical triages, manage complex medical inpatients, and assist with specialised diagnostic procedures. This position offers an ideal environment for a dedicated nurse looking to utilise high-level clinical skills, work efficiently under pressure, and mentor junior team members.

Working Pattern

The working pattern is 4 days a week, with 1 in 6 weekends and a share of the bank holiday and on-call rota.

About You

You’re a RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional patient and client care. You’re a team player who wants to make a real difference in a practice that values and supports you.

What You’ll Be Doing

Typically, in this role, you’ll:

  • Deliver exceptional care to patients, carrying out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities, supporting consults, surgeries and procedures, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards
  • Deliver patient monitoring and care, and manage admissions and discharges
  • Deliver exceptional care to your clients
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive team
