About the Role
Here at Medivet Guildford, we’re looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our friendly and supportive team. We’re particularly keen to hear from nurses who are passionate about clinical excellence and would enjoy taking on the role of Clinical Coach.
Join our friendly, recently refurbished veterinary practice in the heart of Guildford town centre. Conveniently located with excellent transport links to London Waterloo, good local bus routes, and a fantastic selection of nearby restaurants and takeaway options, our practice offers both accessibility and a great working environment.
Our fully air-conditioned practice provides a comfortable and welcoming setting for both our team and clients. Facilities include a dedicated staff break room and ample on-site parking for staff and patients.
We are proud of our close-knit and supportive team culture and are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) who is passionate about delivering excellent patient care and enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an RVN who takes pride in delivering outstanding patient care and enjoys being part of a close-knit, community-focused practice. You’ll have the opportunity to build strong relationships with our loyal clients and their pets while working alongside a supportive and experienced team.
Key Responsibilities
As an RVN at Medivet Guildford, you’ll play an important role in the day-to-day clinical care of our patients. You’ll deliver nurse-led appointments, provide advice and support to clients, and work closely with our Veterinary Surgeons during consultations and procedures to ensure every patient receives the highest standard of care.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
You’ll also contribute to maintaining excellent clinical, regulatory and operational standards, helping us provide a consistently high-quality experience for our patients, clients and colleagues.
A Wider Clinical Network
Being part of Medivet means you’ll benefit from our hub-and-spoke model, giving you access to a wider network of experienced veterinary professionals and clinical expertise.
For more complex cases, you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside teams at our nearby 24-hour hospital in Wokingham, with access to advanced diagnostics, specialist knowledge and modern equipment. This wider network provides an excellent opportunity to expand your clinical experience, develop new skills and build your confidence with more complex cases.
You’ll also participate in the on-call rota, giving you valuable exposure to a fast-paced hospital environment. Working alongside experienced hospital teams, you’ll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with more complex patients and advanced procedures, helping you continue to develop both clinically and professionally.
At Medivet Guildford, you’ll work one Saturday in four, helping us maintain continuity of care for our clients and patients while supporting a healthy work-life balance.
Clinical Coach Opportunity
If you’re an experienced RVN with a passion for supporting others, there is also the opportunity to take on the role of Clinical Coach. You’ll play an important part in supporting the development of colleagues and helping to nurture the next generation of veterinary nurses.
We’re looking for someone who is confident, compassionate and enthusiastic, with a genuine commitment to excellent patient care and a desire to contribute positively to the wider team.
