Are you an experienced, confident and approachable RVN who enjoys combining clinical nursing with client care? Vets for Pets Romford is looking for two Front of House Nurses to join our team. This is a varied role combining nursing, triage, client communication and reception support, ideal for an RVN who enjoys being at the centre of practice life.
The Role
This is a Full Time role including early shifts of 9:00am–5:30pm and a late shifts of 12:00pm–8:30pm. The late shift will include nurse appointments between 12:00pm and 5:00pm, followed by front-of-house and reception support from 5:00pm–8:30pm.
- Provide clinical support and guidance to our reception team, helping with triage, client queries, initial complaint handling and care plan discussions.
- Help promote appropriate care plans and ensure clients understand the treatment and options available for their pets.
- Manage repeat prescriptions, POMs, flea and worming treatments, prepare medications for vets and go through medication instructions with owners.
- Ensure medications are collected and paid for correctly.
- Help manage the waiting room and provide clinical support to reception, including assisting with telephone calls and client enquiries during the evening.
- Coordinate ashes collections and appointments with the nursing team, as well as weekly checks of deceased patients to ensure caskets have been selected and payments have been made.

About You
We are looking for an RVN who is friendly, organised and confident communicating with clients and colleagues. You should be comfortable with triage, discussing care plans and providing clinical guidance, while also being happy to support the wider reception team.
