We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our friendly and inclusive team at Ely Vets for Pets.
Our practice is built around teamwork, support, and creating a positive place to work. You’ll be joining a close-knit team of 2 Vets, 4 RVNs and 2 Receptionist who genuinely enjoy working together – and, best of all, there’s rarely a shortage of chocolate in the staff room!
We’re proud to have the warm, community feel of an independent practice, while still benefiting from the resources and support of the wider veterinary group.
The Role
As an RVN at Ely, you’ll enjoy a varied and interesting caseload, working alongside our experienced veterinary team to provide outstanding patient and client care.
We’re looking for an experienced RVN who:
- Is confident working in a first-opinion practice
- Enjoys a varied nursing role across consultations, theatre and inpatient care
- Is passionate about delivering excellent patient and client care
- Works well as part of a close-knit and supportive team
- Is keen to develop their skills and continue learning
- Takes pride in maintaining high clinical standards

This is a 30-hour-per-week role, with some flexibility around shift patterns to help accommodate childcare or other commitments where possible.
Our Facilities
We’re proud of our well-equipped practice, which includes:
- Digital and dental X-ray
- New ultrasound
- Laser therapy
- Rhinoscope
Alongside caring for cats and dogs, we also occasionally see exotic patients, including species such as lizards and rats, giving you the opportunity to enjoy a varied and interesting caseload.
