An exciting opportunity has arisen at Worthing Vets for Pets for an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and welcoming team.
About Us
The practice is locally run by Eimear and Mariana (Practice Owners and veterinary surgeons), alongside a fantastic team of:
- 4 vets
- 6 qualified nurses
- A highly experienced reception team

Work-life balance is a key priority for the team, with a strong emphasis on ensuring colleagues have time to enjoy everything the local area has to offer, including the South Downs and the nearby coastline. The practice is not open on Sundays or bank holidays allowing ample down time.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be able to utilise your nursing skills to their full potential. Responsibilities will include:
- Admitting patients
- Monitoring anaesthesia
- Supporting patient recovery
- Carrying out discharges
You will be supported by the team of Veterinary Nurses, particularly with theatre preparation and turnaround.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you will have:
- Solid general nursing experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- A positive, down-to-earth, and enthusiastic approach
- A genuine passion for animal welfare
Position Details
This is a part-time role, working up to 2.5 days per week (although this may be flexible for the right candidate), and 1 in 6 Saturdays.
