About Us

Bolton Central Vets for Pets is a locally owned practice, run by RVN Steven who has over 15 years in the veterinary industry. We’re proud to offer the feel of a genuinely local practice, where the team knows each other, our clients and their pets, while still providing the professional standards and clinical opportunities you’d expect from a busy veterinary environment.

You’ll be joining a close-knit team made up of 3 Vets, 2 Nurses and 3 Client Care Advisors, working together to provide exceptional care to our patients and their owners.

Our practice is in a great location, based on a busy and well-connected retail park. There’s a great selection of shops and places to grab food nearby. We’re just a short 5-minute drive away from Bolton town centre and around 25 minutes to Manchester city centre by train or car, making it easy to enjoy both local charm and big city buzz.

Our welcoming, professional practice is busy and fast-paced with a dynamic caseload. There’s always something happening - from surgeries and consults to more complex cases - making it an exciting place to grow your skills. We’re big believers in ongoing development - both clinically and personally. Members of our team have undertaken CPD in areas such as feline medicine, orthopaedics, leadership and mentoring, and client communication. We also have trained mental health first aiders in the practice, helping us maintain a supportive and compassionate environment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
