Medivet Frimley Green is seeking a confident, compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and supportive practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an RVN who is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care and enjoys working as part of a close-knit, community-focused team.

Role Overview

As a Veterinary Nurse, you will play a key role in the clinical delivery of nurse-led appointments, while also supporting the Veterinary Surgeon during procedures to ensure the highest standard of patient care.

You’ll help us deliver exceptional service to our clients, patients, and colleagues, always maintaining outstanding levels of clinical, regulatory, and operational compliance. Our practice has a loyal client base, a warm atmosphere, and a strong commitment to providing personalized, high-quality veterinary care.

As part of Medivet hub-and-spoke model, you’ll also spend an 8-hour shift in our 24-hour hospital in Wokingham every fourth weekend, alternating between Saturdays and Sundays.

You will also participate in the on-call rota. This provides a valuable opportunity to experience a fast-paced clinical environment, work alongside experienced hospital teams, and get hands-on with more complex cases. It’s a great way to broaden your clinical skills, build confidence with advanced procedures, and continue your nursing career.

About You

You’re a RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional patient and client care. You’re a team player who wants to make a real difference in a practice that values and supports you.

What You’ll Be Doing

Typically, in this role, you’ll:

  • Deliver exceptional care to patients, carrying out nurse-led appointments and schedule 3 activities, supporting consults, surgeries, and procedures, complying with all regulatory, practice, and operational standards
  • Deliver patient monitoring and care, and manage admissions and discharges
  • Deliver exceptional care to your clients
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive team
