Small Animal Independent Practice Near Alnwick, Northumberland

Nurse Seekers are delighted to be recruiting for an RVN on behalf of a friendly, independent small animal practice near Alnwick.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join a close-knit team on a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.

The practice is independently owned and has built a strong reputation for providing excellent, personalised care to both patients and clients. With a supportive team and a friendly working environment, this is an ideal opportunity for an RVN looking to join a practice where their skills and contribution are genuinely valued.

The Role

  • Maternity cover on a fixed-term contract
  • Small animal caseload
  • Full-time or part-time hours considered
  • Varied nursing responsibilities including theatre, inpatient care, nurse clinics, and general nursing duties
  • Working alongside an experienced and supportive veterinary team
  • Excellent standards of patient and client care

About You

We are looking for an RVN who is:

  • RCVS registered
  • Experienced in small animal practice
  • Compassionate and patient-focused
  • Confident working both independently and as part of a team
  • A strong communicator with excellent client-care skills
  • Enthusiastic and keen to contribute to a friendly practice environment
