Registered Veterinary Nurse (Fixed-Term Contract) | Friendly, Supportive Practice
Are you an experienced and passionate RVN looking to join a supportive, forward-thinking team? Our thriving Andover practice is seeking a dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join us on a fixed-term contract and become part of a friendly, welcoming team that genuinely values its people.
Established in 2013, our modern practice has built an excellent reputation within the local community and enjoys a loyal and growing client base. Conveniently located within the Pets at Home store at Enham Arch Retail Park, we offer a central location with ample onsite parking and excellent facilities.

About You
We're looking for a proactive and enthusiastic RVN with strong all-round nursing skills and a passion for delivering exceptional patient and client care.
- You'll be someone who enjoys all aspects of veterinary nursing, thrives in a team environment, and brings a positive, can-do attitude to every day.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to outstanding customer service are essential.

We actively encourage our nurses to work to their full potential, including:
- Schedule 3 nursing
- Nurse-led clinics
- Developing strong client relationships
- Evidence-based nursing practices
- Taking an active role in patient care and clinical decision-making
The Role
This varied and rewarding role will include:
- Monitoring anaesthesia
- Inpatient care
- Nurse consultations
- Assisting with surgical and medical procedures
- Stock ordering and management
We are also fortunate to work alongside visiting ophthalmology, ultrasonography, and soft tissue specialists, providing excellent opportunities to assist with more advanced cases and broaden your clinical experience.
This position is 3 days per week, ideally working Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with shifts scheduled between 8:00am and 7:30pm on a rota basis. If these days don't quite fit your availability, we'd still love to hear from you, as we may be able to offer flexibility for the right candidate.
