Are you a Registered Veterinary Nurse looking to take the next step into referral nursing, but don't want to work in a large, busy hospital environment?
This growing independent referral service is looking for an RVN to join its small, close-knit team in Wimbledon.
You'll gain valuable referral experience in a more personal and manageable setting, working alongside experienced clinicians and nurses without the intensity of a large referral hospital — and importantly, you'll enjoy a role with no weekend, out-of-hours or on-call commitments.
Whether you're an experienced referral nurse or a junior RVN looking to take your first step into referral, the team is more interested in finding the right person and personality than a specific level of experience. If you're kind, collaborative, eager to learn and looking for a long-term opportunity where you can genuinely develop your skills, this could be an excellent next step.
The Role
This is a varied referral nursing role combining clinical, client-facing and organisational responsibilities. The service focuses primarily on planned referral work and day procedures, rather than a high-pressure hospital environment with a constant stream of critically unwell inpatients.
You'll have the opportunity to develop your role around your own interests, whether that's:
- Assisting with procedures
- Anaesthesia and patient monitoring
- Client communication and discharges
- Administration and appointment coordination
- Equipment and kit management

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You'll work within a dedicated referral environment alongside experienced clinicians, with access to specialist equipment and opportunities for ongoing development.
The Team & Culture
The team is friendly, inclusive and supportive, with a genuine focus on providing excellent patient and client care. Personality and team fit are just as important as experience. They're looking for someone who is kind, collaborative, willing to learn and keen to develop.
