About Us:
At Lancaster Vets for Pets we are a highly-supportive, diverse and inclusive team. We are a highly-supportive, diverse and inclusive team of 22 consisting of 1 Clinical Director, 1 Lead Vet, 3 Assistant Vet Surgeons (3.75 FTE), 1 Head RVN, 2 RVN’s, 2 SVN’s, 2 VCA’s (6.5 FTE), 1 General Manager, 1 Practice Manager and 8 Front of House Advisors. Our practice is conveniently located near local transport links, including bus routes and a train station, and less than 30 minutes from the stunning Lake District.

The surgery is fully air-conditioned, RCVS accredited and purpose-built to industry-leading standards. We have separate dog, cat, exotic and isolation wards, ensuring the comfort and care of all our patients. Equipment includes Laparoscopy, Video Otoscopy, Ultrasound, Digital X-Ray, Dental X-Ray, Imagyst Cytology and Orthopaedic capabilities. We perform the majority of first opinion Orthopaedic surgeries on-site and refer the complex cases to Kentdale, North-West Surgeons and University of Liverpool.

About the Role:
This is a part-time role working 27 hours per week, including 1 in 4 weekends.
If you are an experienced RVN looking for a new challenge or newly qualified nurse looking for your first role, we would love to hear from you.
To apply you will have good general nursing experience and great customer service skills, be cheerful, down-to-earth and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in animal welfare.
