About the Role
We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly, supportive team at Creature Comforts. You’ll play a critical role in building an environment where both our patients and our people can thrive, while delivering exceptional clinical care and helping create the kind of practice experience we’re proud of.
Join our Putney clinic, a two-theatre practice with a genuinely excellent, highly skilled team and the kit to match. You'll be working alongside a dedicated dental suite with dental X-ray, digital X-ray, and a high-spec ultrasound machine with echo probe and Doppler capability. A CT scanner lands mid-October, taking our diagnostic offering even further.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality clinical nursing care, including patient monitoring, anaesthesia, treatment administration and surgical support
- Work confidently to the full scope of your RVN qualification, including Schedule 3 procedures where appropriate
- Lead and deliver nurse-led clinics, health checks, post-operative reviews and chronic disease monitoring
- Provide clear, compassionate communication to clients, keeping them informed and confident in their pet’s care
- Maintain excellent clinical standards, accurate records and high levels of cleanliness and organisation
- Support stock management, charging accuracy and day-to-day clinic efficiency
- Contribute to an exceptional client experience, including transparent estimate discussions and supporting the Creature Comforts membership model
- Share knowledge, support junior team members and contribute positively to the wider clinic culture
- Take ownership of your ongoing CPD and actively apply new learning within the practice
- Help continuously improve clinical protocols, patient care and the overall success of the clinic

Requirements
- Registered with the RCVS as a Registered Veterinary Nurse
- Previous experience working in clinical veterinary practice
- Strong knowledge of animal husbandry, anaesthesia, anaesthetic monitoring and pharmacology
- Confident carrying out nurse consultations, animal handling and GA monitoring
- Comfortable working within the operating theatre and maintaining high clinical standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A collaborative team player who works well with vets, nurses and the wider clinic team
- Proactive, organised and confident taking initiative
- Committed to ongoing learning and clinical development
- Experience running nurse-led clinics or supporting clinical coaching is desirable
- Experience with Schedule 3 procedures, dental radiography, scale and polish, wound management or basic ultrasound would be advantageous
- Experience using a practice management system such as Provet Cloud is desirable
- An interest in contributing to the development and continuous improvement of the practice
