Are you a Registered Veterinary Nurse or Student Veterinary Nurse nearing qualification and looking for a supportive practice where you can develop your skills, feel valued, and enjoy coming to work?
At Staines Vets for Pets, we're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic RVN or SVN to join our growing team. Whether you're an experienced nurse or just starting your career, you'll become part of a collaborative practice where exceptional patient care, teamwork, and colleague wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do.
About Us
Our close-knit team is made up of seven dedicated colleagues who work together to provide outstanding care for our patients and clients.
Our team includes:
- 1 Full-Time Veterinary Surgeon
- 3 Registered Veterinary Nurses (including our Practice Owner and Practice Manager)
- 3 Client Care Assistants

Our caseload is varied, combining routine consultations and preventative healthcare with a wide range of medical and surgical cases, giving you excellent opportunities to develop your clinical skills.
The Role
This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, including:
- Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break
- 1 in rotational Saturdays (9:00am–5:00pm)
As part of our nursing team, you'll enjoy a varied and rewarding role, including:
- Nurse consultations and preventative healthcare clinics
- Inpatient nursing and monitoring
- Anaesthesia and theatre support
- Diagnostic imaging and laboratory work
- Schedule 3 procedures (where appropriate)
- Supporting the wider clinical team to deliver exceptional patient care
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Is a Registered Veterinary Nurse or Student Veterinary Nurse nearing qualification.
- Is passionate about delivering outstanding patient and client care.
- Enjoys working as part of a supportive, collaborative team.
- Is organised, proactive, and thrives in a busy practice.
- Has excellent communication skills and enjoys building lasting relationships with clients.
- Is motivated to continue learning and developing their clinical skills.
