Type: Permanent / Full Time – happy to discuss part time

Your journey starts here…

At CVS, we put our colleagues first, giving you the support you need to provide the best possible care. From clinical to non-clinical challenges, you'll always have the resources and teams alongside you. We'll be your biggest supporter – it's in our nature.

With market-leading learning, on-the-job training, and collaboration with skilled colleagues, you'll have the tools to grow—whether you're building confidence early in your career or looking to deepen your expertise. From advancing in your current role to exploring new leadership or specialist pathways, we provide the support and opportunities to help you achieve your goals.

Life at Fromus, Eagle and Castle Veterinary Centres

This opportunity is perfect for a Registered Veterinary Nurse who enjoys variety, teamwork, and delivering excellent patient care. Working across our three Suffolk practices in Saxmundham, Framlingham, and Halesworth, you'll support our vets with a wide range of nursing duties, provide advice and guidance to clients, and play an important role in mentoring and supporting student nurses. No two days are the same, and you'll be part of a collaborative team that works together to provide outstanding care for patients and their owners.

You'll join a friendly and experienced team of 5 vets, 7 nurses, and 5-6 receptionists across our three-site group. Your week will be split between the practices, giving you exposure to a varied caseload while working alongside supportive colleagues who genuinely enjoy helping each other succeed. The role offers a 9-hour working day (with an unpaid 1-hour lunch break), a start time from 8am, and a 1 in 4 Saturday rota (8am-2pm), supporting a healthy work-life balance. On top of that, we don't do any out of hours as we utilise a nearby CVS night time service.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
