Our stand-alone, locally owned Practice is situated on the outskirts of the university town of Loughborough in a busy residential area with on-site parking; great motorway and train links to Nottingham, Leicester, the Peak District, Birmingham & London, and being centrally located to the rest of the UK.

We can offer a friendly, inclusive work environment. You will be joining a bubbly, hard-working team who are dedicated to providing outstanding pet healthcare and fantastic, caring customer service.

Nurses are the heart of our practice and perform an integral clinical role in caring for our patients. You’ll have great communication and organisation skills and take pride in working to a high standard. The key to your success will be your ability to embrace all aspects of the Veterinary Nurse role, delivering excellent patient and client care. Continuously developing your knowledge and skills will be important to you; we support all individuals’ areas of interest, as a way to ensure up to date best practice and high clinical standards are followed across the whole Practice team.

About the role

This role is ideally full time, we understand the importance of a good work life balance and so we are open for discussions on how these hours can be worked!

We encourage our nurses to utilise all their nursing skills on a daily basis by taking part in a variety of tasks that includes, but is not limited to, schedule 3, anaesthesia, consulting and in-patient care. We have a rota for nursing roles within practice to ensure variety and fairness.
