We are looking for a qualified nurse to join our inclusive family-feel team to cover maternity leave with the potential of leading to a permanent role. Here at South Shields, we pride ourselves on patient care, customer service and team wellbeing, and strongly believe that investing in your colleagues creates value and purpose.
We currently have 4 experienced vets, 5 RVNs, 1 SVNs, 2 VCA’s & 5 CCAs and would love the opportunity to welcome a new nurse to the team.
The practice itself has been established for over 18 years and is lucky enough to have a very lovely, loyal, client base. We are committed to providing a positive experience for clients and their pets.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- 1 year plus experienced RVN.
- Maternity cover with the potential to lead to a permanent role.
- You must be confident, proactive, strive to provide gold standard clinical care and enjoy client interaction.
- This is ideally a full-time role but happy to discuss part time as we know the importance of maintaining a healthy work/life balance.
- You will be highly motivated with an enthusiasm to learn. We are happy to encourage and support clinical interests with a CPD allowance.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:
- Competitive salary up to £33,000 (FTE) depending on your experience

- No OOH, 1 in 4 Saturday rota.
- 5.6 weeks holiday which will extend to 6.6 weeks after 2 years’ service.
