We have a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Trafford Park Vets for Pets on a 12-month fixed-term contract, covering maternity leave, with the potential for the role to develop into a permanent position.

About Us:
Located conveniently within Trafford Retail Park just off the M60. Our practice is easily accessible, making commuting straightforward.
Our purpose-built, modern surgery is fully equipped to help you deliver outstanding care with confidence. Facilities include:
- Digital x-ray and ultrasound
- Full in-house laboratory
- Dental x-ray
- High-quality microscope
- Multiparameter monitoring
- Drip pumps and syringe drivers
- Bair Hugger patient warming system
We are currently working towards obtaining ISFM cat friendly status
You’ll be joining a talented veterinary team with interests spanning ophthalmology, acupuncture, internal medicine, and cytology, meaning there’s always someone to learn from or collaborate with.

About the Role:
You'll have the opportunity to develop nurse-led clinics, undertake Schedule 3 procedures, and provide in-patient care, giving you the autonomy to grow within your role and pursue the areas of nursing that you're most passionate about.
Our nurses are skilled, passionate veterinary professionals and as such we ensure that they can achieve their clinical potential. We have a team of talented Client Care Advisors to support the client journey, freeing up our Nurses to carry out their roles effectively and enabling you to develop your own core client base, nurse-led clinics, and perform schedule 3 procedures.
Joining us will allow you to work within an exceptional clinical team and develop your career whilst continuing your learning. We offer access to a multitude of professional development opportunities, or more in-depth programmes developed specifically for primary care nurses.
You will work 40 hours per week, 1 Saturday in 4, weekday shifts to be agreed, with paid lunch breaks. Please note this is a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave, with the potential to develop into a permanent role.
