Veterinary Nurse Opportunity at Aylesford Vets for Pets
With a brilliant local reputation, Aylesford Vets for Pets team has much to be proud of and we are now looking for a friendly, motivated Veterinary Nurse to join our supportive and close-knit team!
Our well-established practice sees a wide range of clinics and a variety of surgical procedures, so this is the perfect opportunity for someone wanting to broaden their experience.
About the Role
Practice owner Chris leads the team of experienced and friendly veterinary professionals that includes 3 vets, 3 nurses, 2 VCAs, 1 student nurse and a team of CCAs, all committed to providing the highest level of care. You’ll be joining a great team where everyone plays an important role, and no one feels like “just a number”.
Our nurses are central to how the practice runs, with real involvement across all aspects of clinical care from anaesthesia and inpatient care to nurse consults, lab work and theatre. With our high caseload and 2 vets being a dental certificate, Ultrasound certificate and soft surgery certificate holders, as well as having experience in BOAS, orthopaedics and ophthalmologist, we can truly give you variety in your role and grow your skills.

Responsibilities
- Be a confident, qualified RVN who enjoys working collaboratively and takes pride in delivering excellent patient care.
- Bring a positive, proactive approach and enjoy being involved in all areas of the practice.
- If you have experience in consults and would like to develop this area of interest, it would be advantageous, but not essential.
Job Details
This is a full time position, up to 40 hours per week, and will include 1 in 3 Saturdays (8.30am-12.30pm).
