If you are an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse looking for a full-time role and want to join a warm and friendly team, we would love to hear from you!

About You

You will be a dynamic and proactive Veterinary Nurse with solid all-round skills. Key to your success will be your ability to embrace all aspects of the veterinary nurse role, delivering excellent patient and client care.

We have a culture of working up cases to a high standard and freedom to choose the best treatment options for our patient. Our vets have good clinical and surgical experience, and we try not to refer cases. All our surgical cases are carried out in-house.

About Us

Buckingham Vets for Pets has modern equipment including sevoflurane anaesthetics, digital x-ray, laser, ultrasound, capnography, in-house laboratory, electrocautery, dental machine, and we are looking to invest in endoscopy – all of which we’re happy to help you brush up on as required. We’re proud to be able to provide our clinical team with the excellent facilities they need to allow them to deliver veterinary care with a dedicated dual focus of high clinical standards and exceptional customer service; this also includes a full support team of receptionists and a very experienced practice manager.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
