Registrar Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Registrar to join the existing Collections, Learning and Research team. Reporting to the Head of Collection Services, the successful applicant will lead the Registrar and Documentation team, manage collection management procedures, balancing risk to the collection with public access.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in a variety of museum registration tasks.
  • Experience of managing a team.
  • Ability to work flexibly.
  • Highly organised and self-motivated.
  • Proven ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Effective and professional communicator.
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders and build relationships at all levels across the organisation.

Hours:

  • 36 hours per week, 5 days out of 7.
  • The role is hybrid task orientated work, with some remote working, some office based activities and travel to other sites required.

  • The role will predominantly be office based OR be hybrid with some presents required in the office.
