Adviser Opportunity (Registration and Revalidation)
We Currently Have a Number Of Permanent And Fixed-term Positions Available At The GMC. As An Adviser, You Will Enjoy Plenty Of Variety In Working With Doctors And Health Professionals, You Will Provide High-quality Administrative Support To The Teams For Processing Applications In-line With GMC Procedures. We Have a Number Of Positions Available In The Following Teams
- Specialist Applications
- Revalidation
- Voluntary Erasure, Restoration and Licensing (VERL)
What are we looking for?
Administrative experience with attention to detail and good prioritisation skills. A confident communicator who can build strong relationships with people, you should also be able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
Summary Of Responsibilities
- Prioritise applications and meet deadlines to keep within the agreed key performance indicators and service level agreements
- Take responsibility for more complex enquires from time to time, including those from external stakeholders
- Prepare appropriate and timely responses to doctors, stakeholders and third parties by phone and produce written correspondence
- Support internal partners within the GMC with their queries and processes
This is a hybrid role with some days in the office and some days at home, with additional in-office days as required. We are happy to consider a range of flexible working options. Flexible working requests will be considered in line with the policy.

Appointable Pool

If you meet the appointment standards but are not offered a role initially, you will be added to the pool for six months. Recruiting managers may choose to use the pool or advertise the vacancies separately. If recruiting managers decide to use the pool for new permanent or fixed-term opportunities, you will be guaranteed an interview without needing to reapply.
