We are seeking someone to join the Registration team as a Registration Appeals Officer. You should have an understanding of case management systems and of appeals within a regulatory environment. Attention to detail and strong communication and organisational skills are important for this position.
Your Responsibilities
- Managing complex cases in accordance with our policies and legislation
- Providing guidance to all parties during the appeal process and maintaining an accurate record of events (both paper and electronic)
- Undertaking plagiarism enquiries
- Completing witness statements
- Liaising with HCPTS, lawyers, appellants and witnesses to support the listing of appeal hearings
- Assisting with training sessions for colleagues
- Promoting HCPC and its processes both internally and externally
What We're Looking For
- The ability to manage the end-to-end case process
- Working knowledge of registration or appeals within a regulatory environment
- Knowledge of preparing skeleton arguments
- Professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive material
- The ability to use case management skills and Microsoft office tools to support case processing

Location: Hybrid working with a minimum attendance of 1-2 days a week at our office in London
