About Us
The Architects Registration Board (ARB) is the UK regulator for architects. Our role is set out by Parliament in legislation, and we work to keep the public safe by maintaining a Register of Architects. To be entered and retained on the Register an individual must have qualifications that prove their knowledge and skills and commit to uphold the Architects Code and to maintain and develop their knowledge and skills throughout their career.
We want a world in which the built environment inspires those who live and work in it, reflects the needs of society so that people are safe and can live well, and helps to tackle the fundamental challenges our planet faces.
The Team
The Registration team is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the Register. The team process applications only from individuals who meet the required skills and competency standards. In addition, the team runs prescribed exams and assures the public that architects are undertaking and recording their continuous professional development (CPD). They also provide advice and guidance to the public, architects and others, always aiming to provide a responsive and high-quality customer service.

The Role
The post holder, a member of the Registration Team, will be responsible for the delivery of efficient and effective regulatory operations covering registration. You will play a key part in processing applications across all routes to registration, ensuring only those with requisite qualifications join the Register. You will ensure that the Register is up to date and accurate. Responsibilities will also include the review and assessment of CPD submissions.
This is a 12 month contract.
