REGRESSION TEST LEAD
Location: This is a Hybrid role. Whiteley, Hampshire
Clearance Required: This role will require attainment and maintenance of SC clearance
About the Role
We are seeking a Regression Test Lead to join our team and play a key role in delivering a large-scale systems integration programme.
Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will lead the planning, design, execution, and reporting of regression testing activities across a complex technical environment. You will collaborate closely with colleagues, suppliers, international teams, and customer stakeholders to ensure solutions meet quality standards and business requirements.
This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse technology landscape, including software applications, interfaces, networking, and infrastructure components, helping to identify issues, drive improvements, and support successful programme delivery.

What You'll Be Doing
- Creating and reviewing Test Plans, Test Designs, Test Cases, and Test Reports.
- Collaborating with suppliers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Designing and executing regression testing activities across multiple integrated systems.
- Recording and analysing test results, defects, risks, and issues, providing clear progress reporting.
- Investigating defects and working with technical teams to identify root causes and resolutions.
- Reviewing large datasets and supplier test evidence to demonstrate compliance with requirements.
- Analysing interface messaging and comparing data across legacy and new systems.
- Identifying opportunities to improve testing approaches, processes, and quality outcomes.
- Supporting the Automation Test Team in the development and maintenance of regression test packs.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working within software testing and quality assurance environments.
- An ISTQB or ISEB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing, or equivalent experience.
- A strong understanding of the Software Testing Lifecycle and testing methodologies, including Functional, Non-Functional, Integration, and Regression Testing.
- Experience working on systems integration programmes, including third-party system integrations.
- The ability to create test cases from requirements and design documentation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and investigate issues.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Good planning, organisational, and prioritisation skills.
- A proactive, collaborative approach with a desire to continuously learn and develop.
- The ability to work on-site in Fareham as required.

Pay Range:
£47,600.00-£61,000.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
