Regulatory Accounting Analyst

Warwick | Hybrid Working | £50,000 - £60,000 + Excellent Benefits Package

Are you a qualified accountant with regulatory finance experience looking to make a real impact within a complex, highly regulated environment?

We are partnering with a major infrastructure organisation seeking a talented Regulatory Accounting Analyst to join their specialist finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the heart of a business where regulatory reporting, financial modelling, and commercial insight play a critical role in strategic decision-making.

Working closely with senior finance leaders and key external stakeholders, you'll be responsible for ensuring high-quality regulatory submissions, supporting revenue forecasting activities, and providing valuable financial analysis that helps drive business performance.

The Opportunity

As a key member of a specialist regulatory finance function, you will take ownership of important regulatory reporting and forecasting processes, helping to ensure compliance while supporting the business in maximising performance under a complex regulatory framework.

This role offers a unique blend of technical accounting, financial analysis, stakeholder engagement, and commercial partnering, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working with both data and people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and coordinate financial information required for regulatory reporting and submissions.
  • Manage and maintain regulatory financial models, ensuring calculations and outputs are accurate and aligned to regulatory requirements.
  • Support annual revenue forecasting processes and contribute to the development of forecasting methodologies and best practice.
  • Analyse financial performance and provide meaningful insights to both finance and operational stakeholders.
  • Build strong working relationships with regulatory bodies and internal teams to ensure reporting requirements are understood and delivered effectively.
  • Identify and assess financial and compliance risks, providing recommendations where necessary.
  • Support wider business understanding of regulatory frameworks and their impact on commercial decision-making.
  • Deliver detailed analysis relating to customer charges, financial performance, and regulatory outcomes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
