Company Description
Control Now is a London-based RegTech firm focused on making transaction reporting accurate, reliable, automated, and cost-efficient, while remaining adaptable as regulations evolve. Since 2017, the company has helped banks, brokers, asset managers, and hedge funds replace manual, fragmented processes with trusted reporting infrastructure, reducing operational risk and cost. Its platform, Control Box, serves a diverse client base across multiple regulatory jurisdictions and turns reporting into a controlled, auditable operational capability. Built around automation, transparency, data integrity, and traceability, Control Box gives firms clear visibility into what is being reported, why, and how, embedding compliance into core business processes. The team brings more than two decades of hands-on experience in regulatory reporting and financial markets infrastructure, shaping product design, regulatory logic, implementation, and client support.
Role Description
The Regulatory Affairs Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Greater London, with flexibility for some work from home. This role is responsible for overseeing regulatory reporting obligations across relevant jurisdictions, ensuring that Control Now’s solutions and internal processes align with evolving regulatory requirements. Day-to-day activities include interpreting new and existing regulations, advising internal teams on regulatory implications, and supporting the design and enhancement of the Control Box platform to reflect accurate regulatory logic. The Regulatory Affairs Manager will prepare and manage regulatory submissions, contribute to policy and procedure development, and collaborate closely with product, technology, and client-facing teams to address regulatory queries. The role also involves monitoring changes in the regulatory landscape, maintaining documentation and quality system controls, and supporting clients with guidance on best practices for transaction reporting.
Role Summary
The Regulatory Affairs Manager will be responsible for interpreting regulatory reporting requirements and translating them into practical, client-ready product, configuration, and implementation outputs. The role sits at the intersection of regulation, product, implementation, and client support. It requires someone who can monitor regulatory change, understand transaction reporting obligations, define business and system requirements, support client onboarding, and help ensure that Control Now’s solutions remain accurate, explainable, and aligned to regulatory expectations. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong transaction reporting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work closely with clients, product teams, implementation teams, and senior stakeholders.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
