The opportunity

A well-established specialty chemical distribution business is looking to strengthen its compliance function with a Regulatory Affairs Officer at its Speke site. This is a hands-on role owning product compliance across a broad principal portfolio, with genuine influence and clear development potential as the business grows. It will suit someone with solid REACH, CLP and SDS experience who wants ownership rather than being a cog in a large team.

What you'll be doing

  • Authoring and maintaining Safety Data Sheets in line with UK REACH, EU REACH, CLP and GHS
  • Managing classification, labelling and packaging, including hazard communication and ADR transport information
  • Keeping regulatory data accurate across product and ERP systems as raw materials and legislation change
  • Monitoring UK and EU regulatory developments (SVHC, CLP amendments, poison centre and UFI notifications) and assessing portfolio impact
  • Managing registrations and notifications, liaising with the HSE and ECHA
  • Supporting customers, suppliers and the commercial team with regulatory queries and export documentation

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
