Regulatory Affairs Specialist

The Advocate Group are again, proud to be partnering with Monster Energy on the search for a Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join its EMEA regulatory team.
This is an opportunity to join one of the world's most recognisable FMCG brands, playing a key role in bringing products to market across Europe. Sitting within the EMEA regulatory team, you'll support everything from label development and artwork approvals to innovation projects, technical changes and compliance management across multiple markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead label development activities and conduct compliance reviews across EU flavour extensions and label change management projects.
- Ensure all product labelling complies with current EU food and beverage legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Own the end-to-end artwork approval process, coordinating with internal creative, graphics and external third-party stakeholders.
- Partner with marketing teams across Europe to support the translation and adaptation of product messaging and marketing copy.
- Monitor, interpret and communicate changes in the regulatory landscape, assessing the impact on both existing and future products.
- Support innovation, manufacturing extensions, technical changes and promotional projects across Monster's portfolio of brands.
- Maintain and update internal regulatory databases, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant.
- Support product testing and registration activities, providing clear guidance and documentation to laboratories and key stakeholders.
- Respond to technical product queries relating to allergens, nutritional claims, vegan and vegetarian status and ingredient requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance regulatory processes and ways of working across the function.

- Regulatory experience within FMCG, food, beverage, nutrition or pharmaceutical environments.
- Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- A proactive, accountable individual who can work independently and take ownership of projects.
Reporting into Regulatory Manager, you'll join a team responsible for supporting some of the industry's biggest challenges, from emerging regulations and sugar reduction initiatives through to launching products across multiple European markets.
