Regulatory Affairs Specialist
We are currently hiring for a Regulatory Affairs Specialist on a 12-month contract for a global leader in scientific tools and services, who provide technology, tools and services that support scientific research, diagnostics, drug development and manufacturing. As a Regulatory Affairs Specialist, you'll contribute to ensuring our products meet global regulatory requirements and help make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
Job Details
- Title: Regulatory Affairs Specialist
- Duration: 12-Month Contract
- Location: Loughborough - Bishop Meadow Road
- Pay: £13.50
- Hours: 37.5
- Working Pattern:
- Mon-Fri: Between 0800 and 0900 - 1700 and 1800
- Possibility of hybrid after training (2 days from home, 3 days from office)
Summary of Duties
- Manage and support product registrations and regulatory submissions across international markets
- Compile, maintain, and review technical and compliance documentation to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
- Monitor and interpret regulatory standards and guidance, supporting ongoing compliance activities
- Support product lifecycle management, including new product registrations, product changes, renewals, and post-market activities
- Collaborate with Commercial, Customer Service, Quality Assurance, and Supplier teams to facilitate compliant product launches and maintain existing approvals
- Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory documentation to relevant authorities
- Maintain accurate regulatory records and databases, ensuring all documentation is current and audit-ready
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Regulatory Affairs function and support business growth through effective regulatory support

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required, no prior experience required
- Preferred Fields of Study: Life Sciences, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Engineering, or related scientific field
- Additional qualifications in Quality Management or Regulatory Affairs are advantageous
- Experience with regulatory submissions and documentation management
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a matrix environment
- Experience with regulatory databases and submission systems preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Customer-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills
