Job Title: Regulatory and Compliance Manager

Location: Maidenhead, Berkshire

Salary Range: Negotiable

The Malloy Aeronautics Team:

Malloy Aeronautics Limited specializes in the development of heavy lift unmanned air vehicles (UAVs) for both civilian and military uses. Located in Berkshire, our operations are notable for their focus on in-house design and manufacturing. This vertical integration means we control the production of most aircraft components on-site, enhancing our ability to innovate and maintain high standards across all stages of development.

About The Role:

The Regulatory and Compliance manager will be responsible for Malloy’s regulatory compliance across all flying activities. The successful candidate would be the owner of all regulatory and governance documentation for UK flying operations—including civil and military contexts—covering OSC, OA, SORA, CFAOS, and OFCOM, acting as the primary regulatory liaison with authorities such as the CAA, MAA, AAIB, and NATS.

Ability to hold Security Clearance – 5 years residence in the UK

What you’ll be doing (but not limited to):

  • Generate and own the company’s flight operations governance documentation (e.g. OSC, OA, CFAOS, SORA), as required to ensure that flight operations enable the business to achieve its strategy.
  • Submit operational & technical variations, and site-specific flying permissions to the company’s SORAs.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and external regulations governing UAV flight safety, airworthiness, airspace use, and crew qualifications.
  • Act as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies (e.g. UK CAA) for aviation approvals, exemptions, and operational authorisations.
  • Own the company’s OFCOM permissions. Ensure they are up to date, any new sites are applied for, and that any renewals are in place, on time.
  • Coordinate with engineering and test teams to plan and approve flight trials, ensuring safe and controlled execution.
  • Conduct aviation risk assessments for flight trials in the UK and abroad.
  • Participate in incident response, crash investigation, and post-incident reporting as required.
  • Support pilot training, authorisation management, and crew certification processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement in aviation safety culture, operational efficiency, and compliance processes.
  • Ensure adherence to SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) policy across all aviation activities.
  • Provide technical guidance to teams on matters such as NOTAMs, airspace restrictions, and safe UAV operations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
