Regulatory Change & Reporting Associate

A leading global multi-strategy investment manager with a significant London presence is looking to bring in a Regulatory Change & Reporting Associate. This is an initial 6-month contract, but has a strong chance that the role will convert to a permanent position.

About the Role

You'll take ownership of reviewing and evolving the firm's MAS derivatives reporting process, identifying control gaps, process inefficiencies and reporting breaks, and driving remediation and improvement. You'll also be expected to bring broader regulatory reporting and change experience to the table, supporting other reporting obligations and transformation initiatives as the team's remit develops.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and refining the current MAS reporting process end-to-end, from trade capture through to submission.
  • Partnering with Compliance, Legal and Technology to interpret rule changes (e.g., MAS revisions, EMIR Refit, MiFID II updates) and translate them into process, system and control updates.
  • Identifying control gaps, process inefficiencies and reporting breaks, and driving remediation.
  • Leveraging reporting systems to manage multi-jurisdiction reporting workflows.
  • Supporting wider reg reporting initiatives across other regimes as the function matures.
  • Producing MI and reporting on exceptions, breaks and remediation progress for senior stakeholders.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
