Description:
Experience the inner workings of a global private equity and infrastructure firm. This program offers a "behind-the-glass" look at how AspinRock evaluates live regulatory risks across pharma, energy, and telecom sectors. Participants will observe the lifecycle of a deal, from initial filing reviews to the identification of legal "red flags." This is a purely observational insight program designed to provide high-achieving students with a masterclass in M&A risk consulting.
What You’ll Observe:
- The strategic role of compliance in high-stakes M&A and risk consulting.
- How senior analysts navigate complex public disclosures (SEC, FDA, FCC).
- The process of identifying regulatory hurdles that can halt an international deal.
- Professional communication between analysts and senior decision-makers.

Program Features (Observational):
- Case Study Analysis: Follow along as our team reviews company records for regulatory gaps.
- Process Simulation: Access proprietary templates used by our teams to understand the logic of risk assessment.
- Red Flag Detection: Learn to spot public legal disputes through guided observation of analyst workflows.
- Strategic Debriefs: Sit in on internal discussions between legal, policy, and analyst teams.
Day in the Life:
Your morning begins by joining a sync with your mentor to observe the day's priorities. You will be granted "view-only" access to our pipeline, allowing you to shadow analysts as they use efficiency tools and structured workflows to protect client investments. You will have the opportunity to observe cross-departmental collaboration between Cybersecurity and Financial teams, gaining a holistic view of institutional risk management.

Requirements:
- Current undergraduate student (any year/major eligible).
- Demonstrated interest in finance, risk, or operations through coursework or extracurriculars.
