About Us
We are not your run-of-the-mill bank.
Founded in 1922, Alpha Bank London combines the heritage and stability of a long-established financial institution with the ambition and agility of a growing organisation. As an independently regulated UK bank within the Alpha Bank Group, we provide specialist banking services to personal and corporate customers in the UK and internationally.
This is an exciting period of growth and transformation for the Bank. Alongside our established business, we are developing a new digital retail banking proposition focused on serving the Greek, Cypriot and wider diaspora communities across the UK. Backed by a strong Board, supportive shareholders and an ambitious strategy, we are investing in our future and looking for talented individuals to help shape it.
The Role
We're looking for an experienced Regulatory Compliance Manager to join our Compliance team on a six-month fixed-term contract.
Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, you will play a key role in supporting and strengthening the Bank's regulatory compliance framework. Working within the second line of defence, you will be responsible for delivering compliance monitoring activities, conducting thematic reviews, maintaining regulatory mapping, managing compliance risk assessments and providing practical regulatory advice to business stakeholders.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
