Lead Regulatory Compliance Manager – Finance & Treasury

We’re looking for a highly analytical Regulatory Compliance Manager to lead and implement our finance and treasury regulatory frameworks. If you are an expert in asset protection, capital regulations, and global booking models, and you are ready to build robust compliance architectures from scratch in a lightning-fast digital environment, let’s get in touch.
What you’ll be doing 🎯
As a vital pillar of our second line of defense (2LoD), you will provide independent oversight, challenge the business, and safeguard our financial operations. Your day-to-day will involve:
- Treasury & Finance Oversight: Providing expert oversight on compliance obligations and operational controls for finance and treasury operations across the global business.
- 1LoD Partnership & Challenge: Reviewing and challenging First Line of Defense (1LoD) compliance approvals and incident reviews for treasury products to ensure robust, effective remediation.
- Proactive Problem Solving: Identifying regulatory bottlenecks or compliance issues proactively and architecting strategic solutions to promote firm-wide compliance.
- Policy Engineering: Challenging, assessing, and implementing comprehensive compliance and regulatory policies completely from scratch.
- Regulatory Mapping & Scanning: Driving high-quality regulatory mapping and horizon scanning across geographies to capture shifting financial guidelines.
- Training & Competency: Designing and ensuring the rollout of a robust, company-wide training and competency program tailored to complex treasury regulations.

What you’ll need to succeed 🛠️
We are looking for a structurally minded compliance professional who excels at breaking down complex financial legislation and understands how compliance frameworks impact commercial business risk.
- The Experience: 7+ years in a regulatory compliance role within a consultancy, financial regulator, or fast-paced corporate compliance function.
- The Domain Expertise: Deep, technical expertise in finance and treasury regulatory obligations, specifically safeguarding, CASS (Client Assets Sourcebook), depositor protection, global booking models, and FRTB (Fundamental Review of the Trading Book).
- The Toolkit: Proven, hands-on knowledge of conducting rigorous regulatory gap analyses alongside experience in policy creation and systemic implementation.
- Risk Integration: A solid, practical understanding of the interplay between core financial compliance risks and macro business risks.
- Execution Skills: The ability to perform exceptionally well under pressure, manage multiple high-stakes projects concurrently, and hit tight deadlines.
- Communication: Highly polished communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate positively with internal finance/tech product groups and external regulatory bodies.
- Education & Languages: A university degree in STEM, Business, or Finance. Fluency in English is required.
