Langdons are looking for a new Regulatory Compliance Apprentice
You will be studying toward your Regulatory Compliance Officer Apprenticeship Level 4.

What you'll do at work
As a Regulatory Compliance Officer Apprentice, you will support our Risk & Claims, Health & Safety and Quality Assurance teams to help maintain high standards of compliance across the business.
You will gain practical experience in areas including regulatory compliance, risk management, health and safety, quality assurance, investigations, auditing and corporate governance, whilst working towards your Regulatory Compliance Officer Level 4 apprenticeship.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in compliance and develop a strong understanding of how legislation, policies, procedures and industry standards are applied within a business.
Key Responsibilities:
Risk & Claims:
- Assist with the administration and monitoring of accidents, incidents and insurance claims.
- Maintain accurate risk, incident and claims records and databases.
- Support investigations into incidents and customer claims.
- Assist with preparing reports, statistics and trend analysis.
- Support the business in following relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders, including insurers, where required.
Health & Safety:
- Assist with health and safety inspections, audits and workplace risk assessments.
- Support accident and incident reporting processes.
- Monitor actions arising from audits, inspections and investigations.
- Maintain compliance records, legal registers and training documentation.
- Assist with preparing health and safety reports, statistics and communications.
- Support initiatives that promote health and safety awareness across the business.
Quality Assurance
- Assist with internal audits, inspections and compliance reviews.
- Support the management of corrective and preventative actions.
- Maintain quality records, policies and procedural documentation.
- Assist with reviewing audit findings and identifying areas for improvement.
- Produce KPI reports and compliance performance information.
- Support preparations for customer, certification and regulatory audits.
Throughout your apprenticeship, you will develop knowledge and practical experience across a range of compliance areas, including:
- UK legislation, regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Risk management and insurance processes.
- Health and safety compliance and risk assessment.
- Quality management systems and audit processes.
- Incident investigation and root cause analysis.
- Compliance monitoring, reporting and record keeping.
- Corporate governance and business policies.
- Document control and corrective action processes.
- Data analysis, reporting and trend identification.
- Stakeholder communication and relationship management.

- Promote the importance of compliance and their organisation’s role in supporting compliance.
- Build and maintain good working relationships with stakeholders and tailor their approach to the needs and circumstances of those they interact with.
- Communicate with stakeholders including businesses, individuals and regulators.
- Use digital technologies to manage, share and store information and to communicate with others.
- Follow and apply equity, diversity and inclusion rules and procedures when making evidence-based decisions and interacting with stakeholders.
- Use workload management techniques to plan, organise and prioritise own tasks and manage time effectively.

Essential qualifications
A Level in:
