Job Overview

The Regulatory Compliance Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, analysing, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and policies governing the gambling industry, with a focus on interactive.

This role will involve independently conducting regulatory research, analyzing and assessing the impact of regulatory changes on our operations and implementing compliance procedures and controls and updating policy documents to ensure that we are aligned. In addition, it will involve overseeing and managing multiple jurisdictional security and information management audits with independent testing labs. The role will also include assisting in the submission of games to regulatory bodies and testing labs, and submission of regulatory release notes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regulatory requirements, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. They will have the ability to take the initiative in picking up work for the team, show that they are proactive in resolving issues and have a willingness to lead and manage their work independently. They will be able to quantify results when possible and include metrics to showcase the impact of independent work.

Responsibilities

  • Stay informed about relevant gambling laws, regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to interpret regulatory requirements and assess their impact on our operations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop, implement and update compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Conduct annual regulatory audits and assessments with testing labs and regulatory bodies.
  • Investigate and resolve compliance issues, including conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
  • Provide training and support to employees on compliance-related matters.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory filings, reports, and disclosures as required.
  • Assist in the preparation of submissions and release notes for regulatory agencies, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Skills/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration preferred or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 3 years of experience in regulatory compliance, preferably in the gambling field.
  • Strong understanding of relevant gambling laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex regulatory requirements to diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in ISO27001 and NIST-800 certifications is a plus.
  • Certification in regulatory compliance (e.g., Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, JIRA, Confluence, Slack and regulatory compliance software.
  • Experience in automation of technical systems is a plus.
  • Experience with interactive/ online/ mobile a plus.
