MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- JD, LL.B., equivalent degree, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of attorney-level experience in government, in-house, or at a law firm.
- Experience in digital regulation including privacy and other data laws, and with UK, European laws and institutions.
- Admitted to the bar and in good standing and authorized to practice law (e.g., have registered in-house status) in a jurisdiction in which the position is located.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in regulator engagement.
- Familiarity with other EMEA region laws.
- Understanding of privacy adjacent regulations (e.g., EU Digital Services Act, EU AI Act).

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $252000 - $351000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interpret laws and other compliance obligations into requirements for Compliance, Business, Product, and Engineering teams.
- Provide legal advice on compliance programs and policies to help mitigate risk.
- Partner with government affairs and public policy colleagues to advance government and regulator discussions, negotiations, and disclosures on compliance readiness efforts.
