Crime & Regulatory Senior Associate | Private Client Work | Established Workflow
If you’re a senior Crime and Regulatory Solicitor looking for greater exposure to high-quality privately funded work, this is an opportunity to join a highly ranked London firm with an established flow of sophisticated instructions and significant scope to take ownership of your practice.
You’ll join at Senior Associate level, taking on substantial responsibility for matters and client relationships while benefiting from an established caseload and a remuneration structure that rewards strong performance.
The Firm
This is a highly regarded London law firm recognised by The Legal 500 and Chambers, as well as being named among The Times' Best Law Firms.
The firm has developed a particularly strong reputation for criminal defence and related regulatory work, attracting a significant volume of privately funded instructions and inbound enquiries.
One of the major attractions is the established workflow. Lawyers joining the practice are not expected to build a caseload from scratch, with significant work generated through the firm's reputation, existing relationships and senior lawyers.
The environment is entrepreneurial and performance-focused, with experienced lawyers given significant responsibility and autonomy over their matters and client relationships.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
