Regulatory (Defence) Senior Paralegal

Location: London

Hours: Full-time, flexible applications considered

Office Days: 40-60% of your time in the office

We are seeking a proactive Senior Paralegal to join our highly regarded Regulatory team, supporting lawyers and clients on complex and often high-profile regulatory and professional discipline matters.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious legal professional who enjoys taking ownership of cases, working directly with clients, and contributing to the successful delivery of exceptional legal services.

Our Regulatory team advises and defends professionals, businesses and organisations facing regulatory investigations, disciplinary proceedings and professional conduct matters. Working on complex and often sensitive cases, the team provides strategic support from the outset of an investigation through to hearings and appeals.

The team is recognised for its collaborative approach, exceptional client care and expertise in handling high-profile regulatory defence work. Joining the team offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced lawyers on challenging, varied matters while making a meaningful impact for clients.

The role

As a Senior Paralegal, you will play a key role in supporting fee earners and clients throughout the lifecycle of regulatory defence matters. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing case papers and identifying key issues to support case strategy
  • Liaising directly with clients, taking instructions and maintaining effective communication
  • Drafting witness statements, legal documents, case summaries and other supporting materials
  • Obtaining, reviewing and managing documentary evidence
  • Attending client meetings and case-related appointments
  • Preparing accurate and comprehensive hearing bundles
  • Supporting business development, marketing initiatives, blogs and articles
  • Supervising and delegating work to administrators and junior case support paralegals
  • Managing documents and progressing matters through electronic case management systems

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
