We're looking for a Regulatory Improvement Analyst to join our Environmental Services team at an exciting time of investment and transformation. This is an opportunity to play a key role in helping the business meet evolving environmental and regulatory requirements, while delivering against customer commitments throughout AMP8 and beyond.

Working across a range of high-profile improvement programmes, you'll use your analytical expertise to support strategic decision-making, strengthen regulatory performance and help ensure we're prepared for the challenges and opportunities of the future.

This role offers the chance to collaborate with technical specialists and stakeholders from across the business, giving you exposure to a wide range of operational, environmental and regulatory activities.

This is a hybrid working role offering a mix of home and office-based working.

  • Developing, maintaining and monitoring robust audit trails to support regulatory assurance.
  • Conducting and supporting regular review meetings to monitor progress and drive continuous improvement.
  • Supporting the Regulatory Improvement Manager with national research projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Working collaboratively across Water, Wastewater, Asset Management and Bioresources to provide timely, accurate and meaningful information to stakeholders.
  • Helping identify opportunities to improve reporting, governance and data-driven decision making.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
