Job Title: Regulatory Investigator
We are recruiting multiple Regulatory Investigators to investigate concerns about Health and Care professionals, assess risk, and make evidence-based decisions to protect the public.
Role Overview
You will manage a varied caseload of fitness to practise complaints, gather and review evidence, apply regulatory law, and prepare cases for panel review.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and progress a varied caseload, identifying and escalating high-risk cases where appropriate.
- Investigate fitness to practise, misconduct, and compliance concerns.
- Gather, analyse, and evaluate evidence to support case progression.
- Prepare case bundles for panel review within agreed timescales.
- Provide professional and sensitive updates to stakeholders.
- Proactively obtain information through calls, emails, and correspondence.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Stakeholders
You will work with a range of stakeholders, including:
- Patients and members of the public
- Courts and legal representatives
- Police and safeguarding organisations
- Other regulators and partner agencies

About You
We are interested in candidates with legal, regulatory, investigations, or case management experience who can:
- Work independently under pressure and manage high-volume caseloads.
- Analyse evidence and make sound, risk-based decisions.
- Communicate confidently with diverse stakeholders by phone, email, and in person.
- Prioritise workload effectively and handle changing demands.
- Maintain accurate records using systems such as MS Office and case management platforms.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.

Location
Kennington, SE11 (hybrid working)
Hours
35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
Office attendance
1-2 days per week (3 days during training)
