Job Title: Regulatory Lawyer

PQE: 5+ PQE

Location: Cambridge

Salary: £65K plus


The Role:

As the appointed Regulatory Lawyer, you will manage a varied caseload of contentious and non-contentious regulatory matters, advising organisations and individuals on various regulatory matters such as compliance, risk management, investigations, and enforcement. Your workload will be varied and will include regulatory investigations, health and safety, fire safety, environmental law, food safety, product and consumer regulation, inquests, public inquiries, and privately funded defence matters. You will also play an active role in developing client relationships, supporting business development initiatives, and supervising more junior members of the team.

The Candidate:

Applications are welcomed from Solicitors or Barristers with a minimum of 5 Years' PQE and a strong background in regulatory law. You will have experience advising on areas such as health and safety, fire safety, environmental, food, or product regulation, together with the ability to manage a varied caseload with minimal supervision. Advocacy experience before the Magistrates' and Crown Courts will be advantageous, as will experience in privately funded criminal defence, public inquiries, or licensing matters.
