The Position

LTO - Regulatory Lead

Head Office Based - Welwyn

Are you ready to align your passion and purpose with a role that drives excellence in the pharmaceutical industry? We are looking for a Regulatory Lead to join us in fostering innovation, collaboration, and outstanding results within our regulatory and leadership framework.

What You’ll Do

As the Regulatory Lead, you’ll take on diverse, impactful responsibilities, such as:

  • Inspiring Leadership: Cultivate a high-performing, empowered team through guidance, constructive feedback, direct line management, fostering individual growth, and conducting performance reviews to maximize effectiveness and productivity
  • Governance Excellence: Ensure strict compliance with ethical, regulatory, and industry standards within your disease area(s). Lead with integrity and a focus on patient safety.
  • Strategic Alignment: Partner with cross-functional leaders to shape regulatory strategies, supporting organizational goals and contributing to long-term success.
  • Multi-Skilled Contributions: Work as part of an adaptive, self-managed team delivering squad-prioritized projects and foundational initiatives.
  • Advancing Capabilities: Act as a mentor and coach, playing roles such as visionary, catalyst, and architect while supporting the professional development of others in the Chapter.
  • Prioritization & Efficiency: Safeguard resources by ruthlessly prioritizing tasks, streamlining foundational work, and minimizing work-creep while maintaining high standards.
  • Global Collaboration: Play an active role in global initiatives and squad-based projects, ensuring strategic impact.
  • Resource Planning & Flexibility: Contribute to creative resourcing solutions while fostering collaboration across the organization to adapt to ever-evolving priorities.

Who You Are

Ideal candidates will have expertise and passion in one or more of the following categories:

  • A deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and UK regulatory landscape and experience working within a regulated environment with an extensive level of experience
  • Strong leadership and coaching qualities with direct experience in managing or leading teams, fostering collaboration and partnership
  • Setting and adapting priorities as a people leader to ensure task completion in-line with the regulatory chapter and business goals. Solve problems autonomously with minimal guidance.
  • Leveraging regulatory knowledge and experience to deliver on required foundation and/or squad work
  • Broad and comprehensive expertise within the Regulatory environment
  • Leading foundation and/or squad work and partnering with the business to solve complex regulatory issues that impact the chapter and/or wider business.
  • Leveraging regulatory knowledge and experience to deliver on required foundation work and support with chapter and/or squad work
  • Strong Regulatory knowledge and contribute to foundation and/or squad based work as well as supporting the development of squad/chapter based plans and goals.
  • Actively supporting and contributing to the learning & development of other chapter members by following the principles of continuous improvement, identify and implement required actions in agreement with the regulatory chapter lead.
