A leading international law firm is looking to appoint a Regulatory NQ into its highly regarded Regulatory team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a broad and expanding practice advising clients on complex, high-profile regulatory and investigations matters across a range of sectors. This role can be based in Manchester, Birmingham or Cardiff.

The Opportunity

The successful Regulatory NQ will join a team that advises on a wide spectrum of regulatory work, including:

  • Contentious regulatory matters
  • Corporate crime and investigations
  • Financial services enforcement and regulatory disputes
  • Public inquiries and investigations
  • Environmental, Safety & Health (ESH) matters
  • Insurance-related disputes and litigation
  • Internal investigations and whistleblowing issues

You will have the opportunity to work on significant and often high-profile matters, including regulatory investigations by major regulators, complex enforcement proceedings, skilled person reviews, internal conduct investigations, and large-scale public inquiries.

About You

Applications are welcomed from NQ Solicitors due to qualify in 2026 with experience gained in one or more of the following areas:

  • Regulatory
  • Commercial litigation
  • Dispute resolution
  • Financial services regulatory
  • Investigations
  • Environmental, Safety & Health (ESH)
  • Insurance litigation

Candidates should demonstrate strong technical ability, sound judgement, excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in building a career within contentious regulatory work.
